Angeline Rocks with The Boys

Angeline Gunathilaka who enthralled music lovers for several decades with her captivating voice will give an unforgettable night with ‘Angeline Rocks with The Boys’, a show that would go on boards today August 9 at 6.30 pm at the BMICH.

An old girl of St. Mary’s Convent, Matara and St. Thomas’ College, Kotte, Angeline studied music under the genius musical maestro Sunil Santha. Starting with ‘Sohoyuro’, Angeline rendered her scintillating voice to a large number of films in Sri Lankan cinema.

At the show Angeline will sing her unforgettable duets with young and fresh voices of Shihan Mihiranga, Nalin Perera, Amal Perera and Dusyanth Weeraman and the show is organized by by Manori Liyanage, Damayanthi Dilrukshi and Priyadarshani Hettiarachchi.

Choreographed by Shan Perera, a group of young and well-known stars including Nilanthi Dias, Suraj Mapa, Suresh Gamage, Oshadi Hewamadduma, Gayan Seneviratne, Muthu Tharanga, Nayumi Oshini Liyanage, Nuwan Gunasekara and Madusha Dilshani will do the dance sequences for whom the costumes are sponsored by Symposium.
